At WBTC, we are known for our development of proper running form.  We specialize in teaching form because we believe it is the foundation of the sport.  Using your bodies mechanics properly is important because it allows your body to work with you and not against you.  For instance, heel striking when running forces your foot to act as a 'braking mechanism' and so we teach our athletes to run on their forefoot, which activates their running muscles and propels them forward.  Trust us, it seems daunting at first, but a little work on your form can go a long way.
